365Daily – The founder of Oduduwa University and Ife Prince, Dr. Rahmon Adedoyin, who is currently in Police custody over the murder of an Obafemi Awolowo University Masters student is a billionaire and does not have to kill anyone for money rituals.
This is according to the Director of Media and Publicity, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Ile Ife, Osun State, Damilola Fadare.
The deceased, Timothy Adegoke, who resides in Abuja, was said to have lodged in the hotel on November 5, 2021, ahead of his examinations.
However, he was declared missing when his family members could not make contact with him.
On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olawale Olokode, disclosed Dr. Adedoyin had been taken into custody in connection with the mysterious death of Adegoke.
The Command’s spokesperson, Mr. Yemisi Opalola, said the Ife Prince was arrested alongside 6 others who were picked earlier.
He said: “He is currently in Police detention, undergoing interrogation in connection with the case while awaiting the autopsy report from the hospital.”
Prince Adedoyin and some of his workers were reported to have initially denied that Oludare was at the hotel. This position changed after investigations revealed that a staff of the hotel, Adedeji Tobiloba Adesola, had received the payment for lodging from the deceased.
Adesola’s confession led to the arrest of 6 other suspects by the police, including a self-acclaimed Alfa (Islamic cleric) who claimed to have left Ile-Ife for Ejigbo on the same Friday Oludare was said to have disappeared.
Before the Alfa’s confession, police tracking had shown that Oludare’s phone was moved from Ile-Ife to Ejigbo between 5 and 6 November, 2021.
But the Media aide to the founder of the hotel, Fadare, has said the whole incident was a set up against his boss.
He argued that staff collected the deceased’s alleged payment by transfer to her personal Account and not the account of Hilton Hotels so the late Timothy could not be regarded as a guest of Hilton Hotel, Ife.
According to him, as a chartered accountant he should not have paid to the personal account of the receptionist instead of Hilton Hotel.
His statement continued: (2) The lady Adesola receptionist was recently employed by the hotel manager and has never had any contact with the Chairman of the hotel. She is on 25,000 naira per month NOT 200,000 because the writer said she was placed on 200,000 naira per month to help the Chairman to perpetrate crime.
(3) It was not the lady receptionist that was said to have gone to Ejigbo. The article writer was trying to make his story flow to indict the Chairman and instigate Obafemi Awolowo University students against Oduduwa University students.
(4) Mr. Oyekunle is not a spiritual Alfa but a plumber, named Maint Manager. The writer of the story fumbled by turning a devoted Muslim to a spiritual Alfa.
(5) As a person who has so many businesses, the Chairman never descended low to interact with a staff on 25,000 per month. N200, 000 naira as claimed by the writer of the article who just wanted something to connect to the Chairman of the hotel is spurious.
(6) The Chairman is a complete man of God and has never been involved in any crime or ritual in his life. He has performed holy pilgrimages to Mecca and Jerusalem severally. He has a complete fear of God. The wife is a Prophetess and founded a church.
(7) The Chairman has 5 tertiary institutions. Oduduwa University alone has above 5000 students and a student pays above an average of 500,000 Naira a year ie Gross income of N2.500, 000,000 yearly. Which ritualism will bring N2.5 billion naira in one year? As a matter of fact, he has tertiary institutions in the USA and Ghana where they pay in dollars. He also has 2 Polytechnics in Nigeria. So imagine the billions of money he realizes in a year. The Hilton hotels hosts guests of the conglomerate when they visit ile Ife.
(8) When the corpse of the Timothy was exhumed, the whole parts were very much intact to justify that he was not used for rituals as cases of ritualism were always found to be without nose, head, scrotum, eyes etc. We hopefully expect the post mortem report to justify that he was not killed for rituals.
(9) The receptionist that collected cash without allowing the money to reach THE HILTON HOTELS ACCOUNT SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY INVESTIGATED to unravel her purposes and to justify her intentions. The OAU MBA student unfortunately death should be investigated on why he paid to a personal account. So many guests turned back on that night at Hilton hotels because the hotel was undergoing renovation.
(10) Unfortunately in Nigeria, any person that God has blessed with good money is regarded as a Ritualist.
(11) Dr Rahman Adedoyin has been blessed from the age of 26yrs and he is now 65yrs old. So if he did not do RITUALS THEN, so it is now when he is going to the biblical 70 that he would be looking for money which the Almighty Allah has comfortably blessed with.
(12) All targets are on the personality of Dr R A Adedoyin and his Oduduwa University.
(13)The God that he calls all the time will vindicate him. Too many enemies around.
(14) When a beggar shouts “ akowaba, adawaba, always say Amen. “
