NDC begins sale of nomination forms

As political parties strategise to participate in the 2027 General Elections, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has opened window for aspirants seeking to purchase nomination and expression of interest forms.

The sale of forms would last from Wednesday, May 13 to Monday May 18, that is, within five days.

The NDC National Chairman, Moses Cleopas, in a statement said presidential aspirants are expected to pay N60 million while governorship aspirants N30 million.

While  female aspirants and persons with disability (PWDs) are to pay 50 percent and 25 percent of the fees across all categories.

The party also advised aspirants to attend the planned screening exercise with their relevant credentials and supporting documents.

  • The sale of forms May 13, 2026 to May 18, 2026.
  • Screening and interviews for aspirants May 19 to May 21, 2026
  • Submission of completed forms must be submitted on or before May 25, 2026

Meanwhile, the presidential primary will hold in Abuja May 29th.
