365Daily – Former Lagos state governor, Senator Bola Tinubu and Senator Rochas Okorocha, former Imo state govervor, have picked the All Progressives Congress’ N100 million Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms.
Both Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state and the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, had earlier obtained their presidential nomination forms too.
Although Tinubu is in Saudi Arabia for Hajj, some of his close associates purchased the form on his behalf.
They include, House of Representatives member from Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke; member representing Agege Federal Constituency in the green chamber, Babatunde Adejare; and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.
Okorocha was also accompanied to the APC headquarters by a number of his associates and supporters to obtain the forms.
Tinubu and Okorocha are from the South West and South East geopolitical zones, respectively. The APC had earlier zoned its presidency to the South.
