Fuji music icon, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1, has called on Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The musician also canvassed support for Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir-Yusuf, urging voters to back the APC for continued development and completion of ongoing projects.
KWAM 1 made the appeal on Saturday during the Yoruba Political Mobilisation and Empowerment Programme held in Kano.
The event was organised by the Leke Foundation, established by Leke Abejide, a member of the House of Representatives representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Kogi State.
The Fuji star used his musical performance to mobilise participants and supporters for Tinubu, Yusuf and other APC candidates, urging Nigerians to make informed choices at the polls in 2027.
He described the APC as a platform for development and progress, stressing the need for continuity in governance to enable the completion of ongoing projects across the country.
According to him, sustaining the current administration’s policies and programmes would contribute to national development and improve the welfare of citizens.
“APC for development and progress. This coming election is for continuity to ensure completion of all ongoing projects for the betterment of all,” he said.
KWAM 1 also entertained guests with an energetic musical performance, adding excitement to the gathering as participants responded with cheers and enthusiasm.
The mobilisation programme formed part of efforts to rally political support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
