There is currently a serious tension at the Federal High Court Abuja as detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) could not allow the trying judge, Justice James Omotosho from going ahead to deliver judgement on the allegations against him.
The trouble started when Omotosho read that Nnamdi Kanu’s bail application was not granted. On hearing that Kanu objected and insisted that Omotosho should show him where that is written in the Constitution.
Kanu, raising the objective did not allow the judgement to be delivered, and Omotosho ordered that Kanu’s microphone should be collected from him and that he should be sent out of the courtroom.
Justice Omotosho expressed displeasure with Kanu’s behaviour, which he described as unruly, and insisted that justice must prevail because Nnamdi Kanu had been exhibited such act during the trial period.
Omotosho insisted that judgement can continue in Nnamdi Kanu’s absence.
