Bauchi government transforms technical college to world class standards

The college was fully renovated by Bauchi State Government with partnership with the African Development Bank, ADB, and that this shows responsible leadership and commitment of Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration

Bauchi State Government through the Ministry of Education has transformed Government Day Technical College Bauchi into world class standards with installation of all required consumables facilities or materials for practical.

This development was disclosed to the media by  principal of the school, Alhaji Hussaini Abubakar as he appreciated the Bauchi State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Jamila Dahiru, for improving the quality of education across the state under the supervision of Governor Bala Mohammed.

The principal equally revealed that the college has 17 different departments ranging from electrical, building technology, carpentry, mechanical engineering, automobiles, photography, radio and television, satellites and settings, cosmology, welding and fabrication, plumbing and pipe settings and aluminum works, agricultural mechanization among others.

He noted that the college was fully renovated by Bauchi State Government with partnership with the African Development Bank, ADB, and that this shows responsible leadership and commitment of Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration to boasting and sustaining sound, effective global policies on education across Bauchi State.

The principal said the school has been fully categorized into junior and senior sections and has about 5,000 students with 81 teaching staff; some from SUBEB while others from Ministry of Education.

The principal also called on stakeholders to support creative initiatives in the society with the view to encouraging the younger generations to become self-reliance and sustainable in future.
