Comedian and actress Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has withdrawn her earlier apology over the viral incident involving singer Timaya during a stage performance.

The entertainer had initially apologised after facing criticism over a moment when she jumped on Timaya during his performance.

She said she had now decided to speak openly about her position on the controversy.

“Angry Birds, let me tell you people what I truly feel. I didn’t take this seriously before, that’s why I was asking for forgiveness, but now I want to tell you all my mind,” she said.

The comedian went on to defend her actions, saying she had no regrets about what happened.

“I did what I did with my full chest and I will do it over and over again. I am not sorry and I will never be sorry. I am an entertainer, the stage is my shrine and I will defend it,” she said.

Real Warri Pikin also hit back at those who criticised her, saying she would not allow herself to be bullied because of her status as a public figure.

She added that she would repeat the action if necessary, while strongly rejecting calls for another apology.
