Nollywood actress Papaya has expressed appreciation to her fans after her movie, The Spotlight, reportedly returned to the Papaya Ex TVV YouTube channel.

The development came a day after the actress reposted the movie following reports that it had been deleted from the channel by one of her workers.

In a post shared with her followers, Papaya thanked fans for standing by her and for continuing to watch and support the movie amid the controversy.

She also disclosed that she woke up on Saturday to discover that YouTube had restored The Spotlight to her channel.

“Thank you guys for not leaving me. The Spotlight movie is back on PAPAYAEXTVV YouTube. Thank you guys for the love so far. Please watch and enjoy. Don’t lie, don’t promise, do what we can achieve,” she wrote.

The movie’s return has, however, generated fresh reactions among fans, with some questioning how a deleted YouTube video could be restored and others speculating about whether the incident could have been part of a publicity strategy.

Neither Papaya nor YouTube has publicly provided further details on the circumstances surrounding the reported deletion and subsequent restoration of the movie.
