Abia professionals drum support for LP guber candidate, Alex Otti

We have looked at the resume, programmes and manifesto of all the major candidates, it’s only Dr Alex Otti we find suitable to move Abia from the doldrums to the height of creative and productive leadership

The President of leading socio-political group, Professionals to Salvage Abia (PSA), Engr(Pst) Kalu Nto has praised the governorship candidate of Labour Party in Abia State, Dr Alex Otti, for promising to create a new ministry responsible for developing Aba commercial city.

The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the group’s president through the secretary Engr (Dr) Ejikeme Nweke on Friday after a stakeholders meeting convened to reflect on all the socio-economic problems be-deviling the state since 1999.

The group in the statement endorsed Dr Otti as the best candidate to salvage Abia at this time.

Engr Kalu Nto said having looked at all the other candidates, PSA found the internationally renowned banker, world class, and first class economist as the best man for the job.

“We have looked at the resume, programmes and manifesto of all the major candidates, it’s only Dr Alex Otti we find suitable to move Abia from the doldrums to the height of creative and productive leadership.

“The man is intellectually sound, an economist and a banker of note, a consummate administrator, investor and a lover of people. He has promised to revamp Aba. His out-of-the box innovation to create Aba Affairs ministry amongst others is top notch and best in class. This is a step that will revitalise our commercial city into a viable centre of opportunities, especially for engineers and professionals.”

The group went on to ask salient questions regarding the mis-governance that characterised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s 24 years in Abia leadership and called on the people not to miss this opportunity to vote a tested and trusted man for the job.

They praised Abians for emancipating themselves from the siege imposed on them by PDP when they massively voted for Mr Peter Obi during the disputed presidential election held on February 25.

The group also posed questions regarding the stewardship of present and past governors produced by the PDP.
