The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has suspended the planned distribution of Permanent Voters Card, PVC.
According to information obtained by 365Daily on Thursday, December 8, 2022, the PVC distribution scheduled to start on Friday, December 9, 2022 has been put on hold siting security reason.
The circular issued by INEC to its Electoral Officers said, “I am directed to cancel our earlier distribution schedule for tomorrow, Friday, 9th December 2022 till further notice for security reason.
“The affected Electoral Officers should please take note”.
