365Daily – A member of the House of Representatives representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo, has felicitated with the former President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator David A. B. Mark, on his 73rd birth anniversary.

The Lawmaker, in a statement issued by his Media Adviser, Mr. Andrew Agbese, on April 8, 2021,commended Senator Mark for stabilising democracy in Nigeria with his ”political sagacity and administrative acumen”.

Agbo, who is the Chairperson of the House Committee Chairman on Narcotic Drugs and Spokesman of the Minority Caucus, said having followed the politics and leadership style of Senator Mark for years, he can say without fear of contradiction that he is a leader who is both seen and felt, unlike others.

He said, “As you clock 73 today and by God’s grace, surpassing the biblical three score and ten years in radiant health and sound mind, I share in this joy, knowing how well you have served humanity.”

The Rep. further said the gains made by Senator Mark in the past 73 years are shared not just by the people of Zone ‘C’ of Benue State alone, but by all lovers of democracy and good governance in Nigeria and beyond!

“While in the military, you served as a Governor, Minister, you touched the lives of many with the reforms in the Telecommunications Sector and as two-time Senate President of Nigeria, you cannot be forgotten due to how you helped to stabilise the polity and strengthen the fledging democracy in Nigeria.

“I celebrate you sir, the biggest Benue export and great Ambassador of Idoma for bringing honour and recognition to our people. I am proud to be associated with you.

“I pray God continues to keep you in good health and sound mind so that you will continue to provide leadership and political guidance to our people.

“Happy birthday to the Great Okpokpowulu K’Idoma, Senator David Alechenu Bonaventure Mark!”
