365Daily – Streams of Joy International led by popular pastor, Jerry Eze, has responded to a video circulating online in which a woman claimed that she mistakenly transferred N1,640,200 into the church’s account and appealed for the money to be returned.
In the video, the woman alleged that the transfer was made in error and stressed that the money was not an offering.
Reacting, Streams of Joy International said it became aware of the claim through the circulating video and stated that it had not received any prior call, email, direct message or formal complaint from the woman concerning the alleged erroneous transfer.
The church explained that it routinely receives and resolves reports of erroneous transactions through an appropriate verification process.
It therefore urged the woman to contact the church directly through its official channels and provide the relevant transaction details so the matter can be investigated and resolved.
“Our team remains available and committed to addressing all genuine concerns transparently and responsibly,” the church said.
The response has since generated reactions online, with some social media users questioning why the woman did not first contact the church with evidence of the alleged transaction before making the matter public.
