More celebrities in the entertainment industry have expressed support and willingness to work with philanthropist and promoter of malaria eradication in Africa, Ned Nwoko, on the project.

The latest entertainers to join the train include popular Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim and Mc Tagwaye, a Nigerian comedian, popularly known for mimicking President Mohammadu Buhari, in his comedy performances.

Both of them endorsed ‘Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Project’, just as many celebrities had done in the past.

They praised Nwoko, a former member of the House of Representatives, for making the initiative aimed at freeing Africa from the unrelenting pangs of the deadly tropical disease ravaging the continent.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), a child dies of malaria every two minutes in Africa.

Nwoko has been in the forefront of the advocacy to eradicate malaria in Africa. Among other measures, he has proposed fumigation of the whole continent, development of malaria vaccine and effective environmental sanitation as deliberate steps that would help reverse the prevalence of malaria in Africa.

Other celebrities who have endorsed the project in the past include, Davido, Teni, Wiz Kid, Patoraking, Laycon of Big Brother, Rudeboy, Buchi, Gordons, among others.
