All accused had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges.

365Daily – The former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello and his two co-defendants, Umar Oricha and Abdulsalami Hudu, have been ordered to remain in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The EFCC is accusing the trio of criminal breach of trust to the tune of N110.4billion .
The order was given by Justice Maryanne Anenih of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Wednesday, when he was arraigned by the commission on a 16-count charge bordering on diversion of Kogi State funds for personal use.
Justice Anenih said Bello and others should remain in EFCC custody until December 10 when she will rule on bail applications of the ex-governor’s and the co-defendants.
Taking their pleas earlier, the ex-governor, Oricha and Hudu pleaded not guilty to the charges, following which the judge took arguments from lawyers to parties on the defendants’ bail applications.
