The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, says it has intensified effort in the search for more possible bodies following helicopter crash that happened in Port Harcourt on Thursday, but number stands at three at the moment.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPCL, Olufemi Soneye, “The NNPC Ltd. wishes to announce that beyond the three bodies found in the ill-fated helicopter operated by East Winds Aviation that crashed on Thursday in Port Harcourt, no other bodies have been recovered.
“The Company further notes that intensified search and rescue operations for the remaining bodies along with relevant authorities is still ongoing”.
NNPCL says its heart and prayer are with family members of this unfortunate incident.
