The history of Benue as a state would not be complete without the contributions of the late military administrator
Benue State governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has expressed deep sadness over the death of former military administrator of Benue State, Group Captain, Joshua Obademi.
Alia in a condolence massage signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula released Saturday, in Makurdi, described the late military administrator as dedicative, as well as someone who contributed greatly to the development of Benue State, particularly through the promotion of functional literacy for women in the state.
The governor in the massage equally recalled that late Group Captain Obademi who died May 10 at the age of 73 during his tenure as the military administrator of Benue State between December 1993-1996 when late General Sani Abacha held sway as the military head of state.
Alia also acknowledged that the history of Benue as a state would not be complete without the contributions of the late military administrator.
While praying God to grant his immediate family members, friends, the people of Benue and Ondo states as well as Nigeria the fortitude to bear this great loss, Governor Alia prayed God to grant the late military administrator eternal rest.
