Southeast youth leader faults Dan Ulasi’s comment on Peter Obi

He called on Nigerian youths to disregard Ulasi’s statement who was just speaking based on party sentiment and not the reality on ground where the country needs a fresh blood in the economy

The Southeast zonal youth leader of Peter Obi Voters Community (POVC), Mr. Fortune Nwabueze Kenneth, has faulted the former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State, Mr. Dan Ulasi, over his comment on Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party. The interview was aired on African Independent Television (AIT) on Tuesday.

Ulasi, in that interview, urged Peter Obi to give up his presidential ambition and support candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as any vote for Obi will automatically translate into vote for Tinubu, because he (Ulasi) does not see Obi having the capability to win a presidential election.

In his reaction, Mr. Kenneth said Ulasi is living in the past by saying Peter Obi’s supporters are only on the social media. He said the youths of Nigeria have decided to vote the Labour Party candidate and are not only on social media, but armed with their voters’ cards to make the difference in 2023.
