Hon. Ogene congratulates Senator Nwoye, Ogbaru State Assembly candidates on primary victories

Hon. Ogene said the wishes of the people was evident in their choice, urging them to unite and close ranks for the victory of the party in 2027.

365Daily – The Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) caucus in the House of Representatives, Hon. Afam Victor Ogene, has congratulated Senator Tony Nwoye for his emergence as the Anambra North Senatorial District candidate of the party.

Senator Nwoye was declared the consensus candidate at the NDC primary to seek re-election as senator representing Anambra North in 2027.

He equally congratulated Mr. Chinedum Uwolloh and Engr. Fredrick Nnabuchi Ikeh, who emerged as the NDC candidates for Ogbaru I and Ogbaru II constituencies respectively, following a keenly contested State Assembly primary in Ogbaru Local Government Area.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Hon. Ogene said the wishes of the people was evident in their choice, urging them to unite and close ranks for the victory of the party in 2027.

“The people have spoken, and their wishes will be upheld and respected,” he stated.
