Manufacturing activities have recorded improvements, alongside increased backward integration, macroeconomic gains and job creation

The Tinubu Media Volunteers (TMV) has expressed support for President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms, saying the policies are repositioning Nigeria’s economy for sustainable growth and development.
The group said the administration was gradually reversing the country’s economic challenges through policies aimed at stabilising the economy, improving livelihoods and creating opportunities for businesses and young Nigerians.
TMV stated this in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Chukwudi Enekwechi, and Secretary, Segun Ogedengbe, while reacting to President Tinubu’s position at the 32nd Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) in Abuja.
The group described as appropriate the position presented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima on behalf of the President, noting that the administration had acknowledged the difficult economic conditions it inherited and the need for sustained reforms to achieve meaningful growth.
It said the government’s policies were beginning to yield positive results across manufacturing, agriculture and other productive sectors.
According to the group, manufacturing activities have recorded improvements, alongside increased backward integration, macroeconomic gains and job creation.
TMV also noted progress in agriculture, particularly efforts to link farms with storage facilities, processing centres and markets, while investments in irrigation, mechanisation, financing and rural infrastructure were receiving attention.
The group further commended the Federal Government’s efforts to move the solid minerals sector beyond raw material extraction to domestic processing, industrial production and exports.
It expressed optimism that the administration would sustain its efforts to create an enabling environment for Nigerians to compete favourably in the global technology, financial services and other sectors of the economy.
