We have set up a committee to look into the process of withdrawing our PMF/tactical men from such services.

365Daily – Spokesman of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has disclosed that the force will review and regularise deployment of policemen to individuals.
He explained that this is in order to improve public safety and security.
Adejobi said this while reacting to a viral video in which many police officers were seen following an individual around in his compound.
The Police spokesman while replying a tweet which asked why the individual had a lot of officers guarding him, said: “This is condemned, we will fish out these men because it is even disgusting.
“We have set up a committee to look into the process of withdrawing our PMF/tactical men from such services and use them for the announced Quick Intervention Squad.”
Adejobi also noted that Nigeria needs more men to police the general public and not a few individuals and action will be taken soon.
