Governor Alia condoles his Jigawa counterpart, Namadi, over demise of mother, son

While praying God to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the painful demise of his loved ones, Governor Alia, prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest

Benue State Governor, Reverend Father, Hyacinth Alia, has described as double tragedy and a painful moment, the death of mother of his Jigawa counterpart Hajia Maryan Namadi and his son Abdulwahab Namadi.

Governor Namadi, had lost his mother in the early hours of Wednesday, December 25, and barely 24 hours later, his son Abdulwahab got involved in a fatal car accident that equally claimed his life.

Governor Alia in a condolence massage to his Jigawa Governor colleague expressed shock over the sad events, also describing the incidents as painful moments, not just to the immediate family of the bereaved Governor but the entire people of Jigawa state and Nigeria as a whole.

The Benue Governor whose condolence massage was signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, weekend in Makurdi, urged his colleague to take solace in the fact that it is God who giveth and taketh anytime He wishes.
