Officers of Nigeria Hunter and Forest Security Service, NHFSS, on Friday arrested two suspects; Yahaya Aliyu, 26 years old from Lugbe and Abubakar Mohammed, 24 years old from Iddo.
They were arrested at Gwako area of Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, and were subsequently handed over to the Gwagwalada Police Division for further action.
According from Gwako unit commander of NHFSS, the suspects came on bike in the evening and stole people’s property before they were apprehended and handed over to the police.
“They came on bike, broke into people’s shops and took away phones and money. They enter into one boutique and stole jeans and polo before they were caught. After much investigation, one said he came from Iddo and the other said Lugbe. In fact, one of the phones they stole belongs to son of ASP.
“As we brought them to our office, one of them naked himself because he wanted to run away. We put a call across to the DPO of Gwagwalada and handed them over to him in good condition.
