365Daily – An Abuja High Court has denied bail to five loyalists of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, who were accused of terrorism by the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
They were alleged to have undertaken a terrorist act by invading, vandalising and burning down the Rivers Assembly Comple on October 29, 2023.
The accused are Chime Eguma Ezebalike, Prince Lukman Oladele, Kenneth Goodluck Kpasa, Osiga Donald and Ochueja Thankgod.
Police alleged that the defendants, who are answering a seven-count terrorism charge, invaded the House of Assembly complex to disrupt proceedings to impeach Governor Fubara.
