…Moro emerges Minority Leader
Following the announcement by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, during plenary, some LP senators rose to express objection.

365Daily – Senators of the Labour Party (LP) on Tuesday protested the announcement of Senator Osita Ngwu as the new Senate Minority Whip.
Ngwu, representing Enugu West, is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He replaced Sen. Darlington Nwokwocha, a member of LP, who represented Abia Central district until his sack by the Court of Appeal in Lagos on November 4.
Following the announcement by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, during plenary, some LP senators rose to express objection.
Sen. Okechukwu Ezea, who is also from Enugu State (Enugu North), and Sen. Tony Nwoye (LP, Anambra North) noted the ceding of three minority leadership slots to the PDP, leaving the Labour Party with no representation. However, their protest was overruled in favour of the PDP.
Also, Sen. Abba Moro (Benue South), emerged the new Minority Leader of the Senate.
He replaces Sen. Simon Nwadkwon representing Plateau North on the platform of the PDP who was sacked by the court on October 23.
