I tell you if I were not in PDP, you will see me working for Peter Obi but I am in PDP.

365Daily – Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has declared approval for the candidacy of Labour Party (LP)’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, saying he would have supported him if he (Ortom) were not a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He, however, encouraged Obi to continue pursuing his ambition as it will come to pass if God wills it.
The Governor was speaking at his Abuja residence where Obi paid him a visit on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
“I’m in PDP and I am working for PDP but I tell you if I were not in PDP, you will see me working for Peter Obi but I am in PDP. Let’s see how things work out but the truth is that the Bible says a man can receive nothing except it is given to him,” he stated, adding that Obi may not have the wherewithal but if God decides to give him the seat, no one can stop it.
Ortom, a top member of the PDP and an ally of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has not been active in promoting the presidential candidate of the PDP, former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, and is among those calling for the removal of the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, to step down for a southerner.
