356Daily – Nigerian Afrobeat international art, Wizkid, has earned the title of the most awarded African artiste with his recent award as the “Best African Act” at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).
He now has 3 EMAs, and multiple BETs and MOBOs Awards.
He beat fellow Nigerian contender, Tems, Ghanaian artist- Amaarae, Tanzanian artist- Diamond Platnumz and South African hitmaker, Focalistic, to emerge winner in the “Best African Act” at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).
The musical sensation has had seven MTV EMAs nominations and won three awards. In 2016, he won the Best African Act and Worldwide Act awards.
