365Daily – Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Anambra State, has passed away.
He reportedly traveled to London earlier this week for a family vacation and died of cardiac arrest in the early hours of Saturday, July 27, 2024.
A two-term prominent lawmaker, Senator Ubah initially joined the Senate under the Young People’s Party (YPP) but recently defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Born on September 3, 1971, Senator Ubah was a politician, entrepreneur, and businessman. He founded Capital Oil (CCO) in 2001 and served as its CEO. The company’s facilities and outlets are primarily located in the Southeast and Southwest regions of Nigeria, with one of the largest tank farms for petroleum products storage and distribution in Lagos.
Senator Ubah hailed from Nnewi, Anambra State. His passing is a significant loss to the nation.
