A member of the Taraba State House of Assembly, representing Nguroje State Constituency, Bashir Mohammed, who was kidnapped by gunmen on Wednesday, has regained freedom.
365Daily gathered that the lawmaker was released by his abductors last night after considerable sum of money was paid.
Mohammed was said to have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention immediately after he was reunited with his family.
Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP David Misal, confirmed the development and said investigation was on to track down the kidnappers.
