The Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership team visited Yabo and Tambuwal local government areas to gather baseline information on health promotion and polio immunization.

The team aimed to gather vital information from health promotion officers and focal persons in the two local government areas.

The team interacted with health promotion officers and focal persons from various districts, including Binji Muza, Torankawa, Dagawa, Yabo B, and Dogon Daji.

They received information on areas with polio immunization issues, high-risk areas and settlements with noncompliance were identified.

The team gathered insights into the underlying factors contributing to polio immunization challenges.

The information gathered will inform the preparation for a successful sensitization program aimed at addressing polio immunization issues in the area.

The team’s visit demonstrates the importance of community engagement and data collection in developing effective health interventions. By understanding the specific challenges and needs of the local population, the initiative can tailor its efforts to improve polio immunization outcomes.
