Sokoto AGILE Project opens 5-day workshop on digital skills curriculum

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment, AGILE Project Sokoto State, has commenced a five-day training workshop for Master Trainers on the Digital Skills Curriculum.

The workshop was officially opened by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Professor A. L. Ala, who was represented by Director Planning, Research and Statistics, Malam Abdullahi Marafa.

In his remarks, the Commissioner encouraged participants to dedicate their full attention to the training, emphasizing that they would be responsible for training others on the implementation of the Digital Skills Curriculum.

The training is being conducted under the guidance of Professor Muhammad Suraj Ismail, the resource person leading the sessions.

This important initiative is organized by the AGILE Project Sokoto State, under the leadership of the Component Lead, Hafiz Ibrahim Dogon Daji.

The project aims to enhance digital skills education and equip educators with the necessary tools to empower teachers with essential 21st-century skills
