365Daily – Former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, has congratulated the national leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, on his recognition by Leadership Newspaper as its Politician of the Year.
Obi, in a congratulatory message, described Dickson as his “dear brother and leader”, noting his extensive experience in party administration, the legislature and the executive arm of government.
According to Obi, the recognition of the former Bayelsa State governor and multiple terms lawmaker is a testament to Dickson’s years of service and contribution to public life.
He expressed confidence that the honour would further motivate the ex-governor to remain committed to efforts aimed at building a political platform capable of providing Nigerians with the leadership required to move the country forward.
While reaffirming his optimism about the country’s future, he added, “A new Nigeria is possible, and Nigeria will be OK.”
