Kalu congratulates Nigerian-American Military Officer, Ndukwe, on promotion to US Navy Captain 

Ndukwe was recently promoted to the rank of Captain in the United States Navy.

365Daily – The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has congratulated a Nigerian-American military officer, Kelechi Ndukwe, who was recently promoted to the rank of Captain in the United States Navy.

Ndukwe is the first Nigerian-American to command a US war ship. He is a native of Item in Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State which the Deputy Speaker represents at the National Assembly.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Levinus Nwabughiogu, on Friday, August 30, 2024, Kalu commended Ndukwe for his resilience and consistency.

He said Ndukwe has made Item, Abia State and Nigeria proud with his commitment and dedication to duty, as well as his remarkable achievements so far.

The Deputy Speaker wished him continued success as he climbs new heights in his distinguished career.
