The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in 2023 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi, has felicitated with Islamic cleric Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi as he clocks 100 years.
Obi stated this via his X handle on Tuesday saying the century-long journey of the scholar has brought immeasurable development in the Islamic community.
According to him, “Happy 100th Birthday to Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, your remarkable life has been evidence of dedication, faith, and service to humanity. Your century-long journey has inspired generations, and your impact on Islamic scholarship and community development is immeasurable”.
Peter Obi who posted a photograph of himself, his running mate Ahmed Datti and that of the Islamic scholar said his life is a source of guidance and inspiration.
