365Daily – Nollywood actor, Tony Umez, has explained how producers in the Nigerian movie industry pushed him into irrelevance.
Speaking when he appeared as a guest on Ebuka”s show, “Rubbin’ Minds”, he said he did not voluntarily exit the movie world as popularly thought.
According to him, producers changed their method of casting and it affected him.
He explained that they probably prefered younger and fresher faces and so, stopped calling him for roles.
Tony, who is widely known for his whimpy lover boy roles, also spoke about a wide array of issues affecting the industry.
