PDP Governors’ Forum meets on Monday over insecurity

Governors under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Monday, May 17, 2021, to deliberate on national security.

Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, Hon. C.I.D. Maduabum, made this known in a statement issued on Sunday, May 16, 2021.

Maduabum said the forum would also deliberate on issues of economic importance.

He stated: “The meeting will further review the current state of the nation, especially issues of national security and the economy, and also fine-tune strategies to support PDP as a viable and necessary alternative to the All Progressives Congress administration.”

The DG said that the meeting, expected to be attended by the 15 governors elected under PDP, would be presided over by the Forum Chairman, Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
