Kwankwaso mourns Emir of Gumel, Ahmad Sani II

The late Emir would be remembered for the remarkable progress recorded in the Gumel Emirate during his long reign

Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has expressed grief over the death of the Emir of Gumel, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmad Muhammad Sani II.

Kwankwaso, in a condolence message, described the late monarch as an accomplished and visionary traditional ruler whose reign contributed significantly to the development and stability of the Gumel Emirate.

He noted that the deceased dedicated more than 45 years to the leadership of the emirate, leaving behind a legacy of service, wisdom and commitment to his people.

According to him, the late Emir would be remembered for the remarkable progress recorded in the Gumel Emirate during his long reign.

The former governor commiserated with members of the late monarch’s family, the Gumel Emirate Council and the people and government of Jigawa State over the loss.

Kwankwaso prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him eternal rest and admit him into Jannatul Firdaus.
