Davido, Tems, Wizkid to headline AfroPlus Fest 2026 in US

Afrobeats superstars Davido, Tems and Wizkid are set to headline the 2026 edition of AfroPlus Fest, scheduled to take place from Sept. 4 to Sept. 6 at the Washington Commanders’ Stadium grounds in Maryland, United States.

The festival organisers unveiled the star-studded lineup on the event’s official Instagram page, @theafroplus, confirming that each of the three Nigerian music icons will headline one day of the festival.

According to the schedule, Davido will headline the opening night on Sept. 4, Tems will take centre stage on Sept. 5, while Wizkid will round off the three-day celebration with the closing performance on Sept. 6.

The festival will be held during the U.S. Labor Day weekend, bringing together some of the biggest names in Afrobeats, hip-hop and dancehall.

Other artistes expected to perform include Nigerian stars Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and Olamide. They will be joined by American rap acts Lil Baby, Latto, Sexyy Red and Chief Keef, as well as Jamaican dancehall sensation Alkaline.

AfroPlus Fest returns for its second edition after making its debut as a one-day event in Washington, D.C., in August 2025. Organisers said the inaugural edition attracted an estimated 20,000 attendees, underscoring the growing global appeal of African music.
