As Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State submitted his nomination form and successfully screened, the coast is now clear for the reenactment of another landslide victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027 general elections.
Shortly after the screening exercise, Governor Idris praised the national eadership of the party for providing level playing field for members of the party and aspirants to exercise their rights under a transparent process.
According to his special adviser on communication and strategy, Abdulllahi Idris Zuru, the governor also expressed profound gratitude to the stakeholders, membership of APC in the state and indeed the people of Kebbi State for the trust and confidence they entrusted in him, all through.
Governor Nasir has returned to Birnin Kebbi in high spirits, the state capital, and happily received by prominent politicians and personalities, top government functionaries, family members, and well wishers.
Meanwhile, a non-governmental organisation, “NO VACANCY NETWORK” founded to promote the continuity of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris has established chapters in the states including Kebbi where they have begun public awareness enlightenment.

Already, the leadership of the Kebbi State chapter led by coordinator, Honourable Nasiru Turakin Masama, at the weekend, visited the Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy to Kebbi State Governor, Abdullahi Idris Zuru at his residence and conferred on him a Patron of the organisation in the state.
At the presentation ceremony, the state coordinator acknowledged the commitment and dedication of the Adviser in championing the course of President Tinubu and Comrade Nasir Idris’s return beyond 2027.
The letter of the appointment reads in parts “In recognition of your commitment to the continuity of President Bola Tinubu and Comrade Governor Nasir Idris, No Vacancy Network has appointed you as a patron of the organisation in Kebbi state.”
He said President Bola Tinubu has remarkably improved the well-being of the people of Kebbi State with the execution of valuable infrastructure and provision viable socio-economic empowerment programmes.
Among such projects includes the 1068 killometers Sokoto-Badagry Super highway project with 250 killometers cutting across Kebbi State, which will certainly boost economic growth and social development along the corridor.
The presidential approval for the Kebbi state government to take over the reconstruction of the abandoned Koko-Zuru federal road project, construction of Natsini – Kangiwa-Kamba roads, Zaima-Zuru-Gamji road, Malando-Warrah road and Birnin Yauri- Rijau- Zuru road.
