APC chieftain urges Nigerians to bear with Tinubu over economic hardship

The hardship is a global problem; not just Nigeria and our president is a tested and trusted leader who has noticed the sufferings of the masses

North-East coordinator for former Benue state governor, Senator George Akume, Amb Aisami Tagali, has called on Nigerians irrespective of political and religious inclination, to bear with the administration of President Bola Tinubu for at least little time to enable its policies to manifest and be of great benefit to the people.

Ambassador Aisami made the call on Sunday during a grand interview with journalist in Damaturu the yobe state capital.

“I have confidence that the Tinubu administration will make the economy better for the country. I have said it before, it is like when a woman is in labour there is a lot of pain pending her delivery”.

He said the president is aware of the hardship in the country as a result of the ongoing reforms, assuring however that things are going to be better.

Tagali said that, “It is my absolute belief and confidence that, with respected people like Senator George Akume who has vast experience in governance, Tinubu will always remain advised and guided towards providing good and quality services to Nigerians”, he added

Aisami also expressed confidence in the bold policy initiative and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in addressing the inherited socio-economic and security challenges facing the nation currently.

According to him, “The hardship is a global problem; not just Nigeria and our president is a tested and trusted leader who has noticed the sufferings of the masses, and is trying his possible best to normalize the economy in order for them to enjoy the dividends of democracy”.

He therefore said the beauty of it is that the Naira rate has appreciated from N1,950 to almost N1,200 to a dollar as of today, since the rate of inflation is determine by the exchange rate.
