2023: Senator Margery Okadigbo rallies support for Tinubu

She said that all hands must be on deck to ensure an all-round victory for the party in the state, national assembly, and presidential elections in 2023

365Daily – The Anambra state Coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign organisation, Senator Margery Chuba-Okadigbo, has taken steps to galvanize stakeholders in Anambra ahead of the official kick-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s presidential campaign.

She kick-started the new assignment by convening a stakeholders meeting in Abuja to review the party’s activities in the state and to seek new ways that would add more value to its quest in the next general elections.

The all-inclusive Anambra state stakeholders interactive session was hosted on Wednesday October 18, 2022, at Barcelona Hotel Abuja, by Mrs Okadigbo.

According to her, the meeting was to brief the APC stakeholders in Anambra state of her new assignment and to also invite them to come onboard with her to help the ruling party achieve its objective of retaining power in 2023.

At the meeting, Senator Okadigbo, who is also the maiden chairman of the newly established Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, pleaded for the support and commitment of all members of the APC in the coming general elections.

She said that all hands must be on deck to ensure an all round victory for the party in the state, national assembly, and presidential elections in 2023.

The APC State Chairman, Hon. Basil Ejidike, in his remarks thanked Sen. Okadigbo for her decency, pragmatism and the noble part she has chosen so far and promised to offer her an unconditional support in the bid to achieve the desired objectives that would justify her appointment as the state coordinator.

He also called for peace, forgiveness and tolerance among APC members in the state, adding that the aggrieved individuals should embrace reconciliation in the overall interest and progress of the party.

Other leaders at the pally, who also preached peace and a united front in the state, included, the Southeast Zonal Vice Chairman, Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu, Deputy National Organizing Secretary of APC, Hon. Nze Chidi Duru, Amb. Jerry Ugokwe PhD, Sen. Emma Anosike, Hon. Ralph Okeke, Rev. Uche Ibeabuchi, Hon. Callista Nwachukwu, Hon. Phil Agbasi, Hon. Barr. Ikenna Amaechi, Chief Augustine Muomaife, Sen. Joy Emordi and Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji who spoke on behalf of all the Senatorial Candidates.

Suggestions on how to forge ahead in the coming days to ensure victory for the party were made by different participants.
