365Daily – It has been reported that Rivers State governor, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike ordered security men to pull down all flags of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, which is the ruling party in the state.
Wike’s action has further confirmed insinuation that the governor is likely to dump the party he has serviced as a local government chairman, chief of staff to governor, minister of state education as well as two term governor.
Governor Wike who has shouldered the PDP since 2015 when the party lost out to the APC, but has suddenly become disgruntled.
Trouble started when Wike contested the presidential ticket of the PDP and lost to Atiku Abubakar, and since then he became antagonistic to the party.
Many efforts have been made to pacify Wike, all to no avail.
