365Daily – Former President Goodluck Jonathan has visited the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) headquarters in Abuja to personally renew his drivers license.

This was disclosed by Osita Chidoka, former boss of the FRSC, who said he accompanied the former president for the exercise.

Writing on his Facebook page on Thursday, June 9, 2022, Chidoka, a one time Minister of Aviation in Jonathan’s government, said: “This afternoon, I escorted former President Goodluck Jonathan to renew his drivers license at the FRSC Headquarters in Abuja.

“We were warmly welcomed by the Corps Marshal Boboye Oyeyemi and his management team. The Corps Marshal took us around the digital facilities of the corps.

“President Goodluck Jonathan was impressed as he could see visible progress from his last visit when I was Corps Marshal. I was impressed.

“The drivers license capture process was seamless and the process flow smooth. I am happy that our original dream of a secured drivers license anchored on a unique biometric identity is still working and underpinned by a strong and rigid adherence to process.”
