UK’s O2 Arena honours Davido by changing name to ‘TheDavidO2’

365Daily – Popular O2 Arena in the United Kingdom has paid respect to Nigerian singer and songwriter, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, by changing its name to TheDavidO2 for the night his sold out show was to hold.

The crooner successfully sold out the O2 Arena a day before his concert which held on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

The O2 Arena took to its social media page to officially announce that the singer’s concert was sold out while honoring him with a name for the night.

An elated Davido shared the information on his Instagram story after the O2 Arena took to its social media page to officially announce that his concert was sold out, and that it was honoring him with a name change for the night.

The event was well attended by many Nigerian stars in attendance. It was opened with his hit song, “Dami Duro.”

Other performers at the concert include Nigerian record producer, Pheelz, Mayorkun, Vict0ny, Adekunle Gold, Teni, Zlatan Ibile, and others.
