365Daily– Instagram comedian, Sunday Joshua Martins (De General), has denied allegations that he is a drug peddler.
The Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) had taken the comedian into custody after a raid on his house on January 12, 2022, in the Lekki area of Lagos where they allegedly found cannabis and 14 g of tramadol.
He was released from NDLEA custody after a Federal High Court in Lagos found him guilty of drug trafficking.
De General said via his Instagram page: “I am not a drug trafficker, I am a laugh trafficker, if i was really a drug trafficker they would never let me walk free just like that.”
