365Daily – An autopsy will be conducted on the remains of a female client who was electrocuted to death at Hustle and Bustle, a club owned by Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, in Abuja.
This us just as details have emerged about the death of the deceased, identified as Susan.
It was gathered that she was electrocuted at the club which is located at Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2 , Abuja, on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
She allegedly died after been electrocuted by a metal on the floor of the club.
According to someone who identified himself as the deceased’s brother’s friend , the management of the club was negligent in its response in the aftermath of the sad incident.
He said via his Twitter handle, @Khalid Oshoke, that the management of the club failed to accompany Susan to the hospital for medical help.
He added that it also refused to report the incident to the police or make its CCTV camera footage available for scrutiny when friends and family members of the victim demanded for it.
“My friend called me to inform me that his sister died at Hustle and Bustle early this morning. I speedily drove to the premises and I met my friend, friend of the deceased and employees of club at the venue.
“My friend and his people have been at Hustle and Bustle since morning demanding for CCTV footage so at least we can know the event that led to her death. The most funny aspect of all this is the fact that the employees keep saying that the manager is the only one with access to the footage and his sleeping.
“My friend’s sister died at the premises and the manager is dozing, we are still right here anticipating him to wake up from his splendor sleep.
“Manager is finally here and we’ve seen the footage and she was obviously electrocuted by one of the metal on the floor.
“We’re all gathered at the police station and the management of Hustle and Bustle despatched their facility supervisor to represent them. Not only did they not report the case, they didn’t accompany the deceased who died on their premises to the hospital. It took the manager seven hours to respond”, he wrote.
When contacted, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Spokesperson, DSP Josephine Adeh, said investigation was ongoing, adding that the police would conduct an autopsy on the corpse.
She said: “The case was reported to the police. This is a case of sudden and unnatural death, which investigation is on going. We are going to carry out an autopsy to determine the cause of the death. I cannot tell you the cause of the death now until the investigation and autopsy are completed.”
