Nigerians from all walks of life most especially the youths have been called to joins hands and rally support for the emergence of former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the forthcoming Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential primaries, noting that at this critical time in the history of the nation, the country needs a dynamic leader in the person of Waziri more than ever.
This charge was made by the National Deputy Director Print Media of the Atiku Support Organisation – ASO, Eric Ekwere recently at the National Headquarters of Atiku Support Organisation – ASO shortly before appending his signature on the signature board of the Organisation in solidarity to the aspiration of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
According to Eric, “His Excellency Atiku Abubakar has been consistent on the call to make Nigeria a united, prosperous country and a delight to investors by reclaiming its position as the economic hub of Africa.
“Never in our history as a nation have we recorded this level of social and economic challenges such as insecurity, disunity, unemployment and poor infrastructure as this, which has continually threatened our corporate existence, hence the need to join the movement to bring the right person to pilot the affairs of this country in the person of Atiku Abubakar”, he said.
“We have our peculiarities as a people and we will always encounter huge challenges as we progress on this path to greatness once again, but we can only overcome these challenges if we all agree to join hands and work together on this noble cause. This is the time to save ourselves and save Nigeria”, Eric Ekwere added.
Reacting to the outcome of the convention, Eric Ekwere also congratulated the leadership of Peoples Democratic Party for the role they played during the days preceeding the convention which led to a hitch free convention as witnessed.
He stated that it is a very daunting task for elective officers to emerge through a consensus arrangement without rancour just as the party recorded Saturday, noting that it goes to show that party is truly on the right track in reclaiming power at the centre and more states come 2023 thereby rescuing the nation from the brink of destruction.
He also commended the choice and emergence of the 25 year old Hon. Muhammed Kadade Suleiman as the National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party. According to Eric, this is a sincere youth representation as he prayed that states should emulate same by allowing the true youth demograph get actively involved in politics and governance at all levels.
