365Daily– Gubernatorial flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 6, 2021 Anambra election, Senator Andy Uba, has appointed an ex-member of the House of Representatives and APC stalwart, Hon. Victor Afam Ogene, as the Media and Publicity Director of his Governorship Campaign Organisation.
Hon. Ogene is also a long standing journalist, with over 30 years of practice, who has been of the APC since its formation 6 years ago.
The Director General of the Senator Andy Uba Governorship Campaign Organisation (SAUGCO), Sir Paul Chukwuma, said in a statement announcing the appointment: “As Director of Media and Publicity, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of the Campaign’s messaging.”
Hon. Ogene, who was also the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Media and Publicity Committee in the 7th Assembly, has since assumed duties.
