Nigeria–Russia Chamber of Commerce and Industry set for commissioning

 

The Nigeria –Russia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NRCCI) will be formally inaugurated in Abuja on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
The inauguration which begins at 9:00am at the Niger-Plateau Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, will attract a business delegation from the Russian Federation and create opportunities for networking with members of the Nigerian Business community.

President/Founder of the Nigeria-Russia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NRCCI), Dr. Obiora Okonkwo, who is also the governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in Anambra state said: “the event will provide the opportunity for interaction between the Russian delegation, private sector operatives in Nigeria and the relevant departments of the Nigerian government. The aim is to generate the momentum for sustainable productive future engagements that will eventually foster investment in Nigeria.”
“The Chamber is established as a special commitment to our national aspiration for economic prosperity”, he further said.
The delegation of the Russian Government to the event will be led by His Excellency, Oleg Ozerov, an Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Ambassador-at-Large and Head of the Secretariat of Russia-Africa Partnership Forum. He will lead a high-level Russian business delegation to participate at the event.
Other members of the delegation include representatives of JCS URALCHEM (a fertilizer Company); PJS Phos–Agro; LLCCHETRA (Industrial Machinery and spare parts manufacturing); JSC United Metallurgical Company (Dedicated to iron and steel products; general trade and investment in manufacturing and production in the fields of oil and solid minerals among others.
