365Daily – The Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) on Tuesday felicitated with Ebonyi State Governor, Governor David Umahi, on his 58th birthday.
The PGF comprise Governors who belong to the APC.
The forum sent its felicitation in a statement signed by its Chairman, Gov. Abubakar Bagudu, on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, in Abuja.
PGF said Umahi had made remarkable contributions to APC since he defected to the APC earlier in the year, adding that his leadership, vision and commitment to a united prosperous Nigeria was commendable.
The Governors stated: “We celebrate this special occasion with your family, the good people of Ebonyi and other well-meaning Nigerians.
“Since you joined us, we acknowledge your contributions through your insightful and resolute inputs to the processes of responding to challenges of governance both in Ebonyi and at the national level.”
They also assured that the forum will keep unveiling programmes aimed at strengthening the capacity of All Progressives Congress (APC) governments at all levels.
The statement added: “We also reaffirm commitment of progressive governors to roll out programmes that will strengthen the capacities of APC governments at all levels to create jobs, stimulate economic activity, reduce inequality and poverty in Nigeria.’’
