APC constitutes 7-member Screening Committee for Anambra Governorship aspirants

365Daily – The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled the screening committee for Anambra State Governorship asprants election in the November 6, 2021.

The committee will screen the aspirants ahead of the primaries which will produce a flagbearer for the party in the guber election.

The list was released in a statement issued by the party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) Secretary, Sen. John James Akpan Udoedehe.

He said in the Wednesday, June 9, 2021 statement that the National Chairman of the CECPC,Governor Mai Mala Buni, had approved seven-member Screening Committee to conduct the Screening Exercise in line with the provisions of our Party’s Constitution and Guidelines for the nomination of Candidates.

The Committee is headed by Chief Ikechi Emenike, while Hon. (Sir.) Augustine Utuk will act as the Secretary.

Members are Rt. (Hon.) Eugene Odo; Prof. Ben Angwe; Mrs. Kemi Nelson; Ahmed Aliyu and Prof. Adeolu Akande.

Akpanudoedehe said the Committee will be inaugurated on Thursday 10th June, 2021 at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja.
